The story of an Afghan Refugee

I made a short doc of "A Day in the Life of a Girl" in one of the poorest villages in the southern state of Karnataka in India.

My 6 weeks in india was one of the most challenging experiences of my life. it was my first experience with extreme poverty. I saw the power of education to change the course of the lives of girls. My students have parents who earn under the poverty line in India, which is equivalent to 600 US DOLLARS PER YEAR.
